Coming home to Alden and the Iowa Falls area has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. When I started Iowa River Legal, I knew I wanted to build something rooted in community — something that made legal help more accessible for the people and places that helped shape who I am. But I never could have anticipated just how warmly this community would open its arms and welcome me home.

From the very first day of sharing Iowa River Legal’s announcement, the kind words, encouragement, and support have been overwhelming. Old friends, teachers, mentors, and neighbors have reached out — not just to congratulate me, but to offer help, ideas, and enthusiasm for what’s ahead. Every message, every handshake, every “welcome back” has meant more than I can express.

This journey isn’t just about starting a law firm. It’s about giving back to the community that gave me my start. It’s about ensuring that families, farmers, and small businesses in rural Iowa have access to trustworthy, affordable legal guidance without having to travel miles away or feel priced out of help.

There’s something deeply special about being able to serve people I’ve known most of my life — the ones who taught me values like hard work, honesty, and compassion.
